Who we are

Established by the two Danish shipping companies Evergas and Ultragas – each a market leader within their respective segments of transportation of liquefied gasses – Dan-Unity CO2 is the world’s first carbon capture and storage-specific shipping entity.

Evergas has since become Seapeak, and Ultragas has become Navigator Gas, only adding to the joint ambitions of succeeding in our mission.

Standing on the shoulders of the two companies' rich histories, Dan-Unity CO2 is leveraging the experiences and innovative spirits to tackle the challenges of today to create a better tomorrow.

With decades of experience, Seapeak is one of the world’s largest independent marine transportation service providers of liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and other natural gas liquids (NGL), with ownership interest in over 90 vessels and a regasification terminal. Seapeak is a diverse, multicultural and global group of leaders, both at sea and ashore. Our offices span the globe, offering 24/7 service to our customers and an employee base of over 2900 strong.

Ultragas ApS is part of Navigator Gas, the owner and operator of the world’s largest fleet of handysize liquefied gas carriers and a global leader in the seaborne transportation services of petrochemical gases, including ethylene, ethane, liquefied petroleum gas and ammonia. Navigator has offices in London, Denmark, Gdynia, Houston and Manila.

Navigator’s fleet consists of 53 semi- or fully-refrigerated liquefied gas carriers, 21 of which are ethylene and ethane capable. Navigator owns a 50% share, through a joint venture, in an ethylene export marine terminal at Morgan’s Point, Texas, USA. Navigator’s. The Company plays a vital role in the liquefied gas supply chain for energy companies, industrial consumers and commodity traders, with its sophisticated vessels providing an efficient and reliable ‘floating pipeline’ between the parties, connecting the world today, creating a sustainable tomorrow.
